If you have one or more of these symptoms following an accident or traumatic event in the workplace, do not hesitate to contact us.
Providing assistance to truckers
Our services are completely free. You have experienced an accident or a traumatic event on the road, our team of psychoeducators specializing in post-traumatic stress disorder and anxiety disorders will take care of you quickly.
Helping Your Loved Ones Understand You Better
As the ex-wife of a truck driver injured by PTSD, I know the importance of having family support for driver remission. Our team of volunteers can assist your family in helping you.
Establish an intervention protocol
In 2018, we received a grant from the Ministry of Transport for the development of a rapid intervention protocol following an accident involving truckers. This project will prove that a quick intervention with our psycho educators will greatly help the trucker to regain a quality of life and avoid worsening his psychological state.
Raise awareness among industry players
Our work is also to educate transport companies, training schools and the general public on the impacts of PTSD on the lives of truckers.
Create a network of peer helpers
We are actively working to create a network of peer helpers in the field of transport. This network will aim to detect and support truckers in distress.
Creating a Respite Home
Our ultimate mission will be to create a respite home for truckers going through tough times that would transition from hospital to home.
The ribbon was created in 2017 by Kareen Lapointe. Black represents truckers who died on our roads and teal is the color of post traumatic stress disorder.
